Wally the Whale Cupcakes

Well, Easter set me back on this blog since I went down to visit friends and family in LA. Sorry if I didn't get a chance to see you! Here is a picture of the beach cupcakes I made for my cousin. He was sad to be left out as one of my taste testers.

The cupcake is vanilla cake with sprinkles in the batter, buttercream icing a candy whale I made from marzipan and a cookie surfboard. Hope you enjoy :)

Sorry for the bad pics, I used my phone :)

Burger Cupcakes

I am going to re-do these this week because I was lazy today and didn't make the right frosting (I used the marshmallow fluff from the kettle corn recipe) and it wasn't the right texture. I also ad no red food dye and forgot to make the cookie fries.

But here is the basic outline of the cupcake burger!

Kettle Corn Cupcakes

I created this recipe today and it worked out really well. I enjoyed the flavors and texture. Not a fan of the frosting I used but it was ok with this recipe.
The cake is french vanilla with toffee pieces and crunched up sugar cubes in the batter. It has a little extra slat as well.
The frosting is marshmallow fluff (vanilla flavored) with kettle corn and a sugar cube on top.

it sounds weird but tastes delicious!
Enjoy the pics!

Search for deliciousness...

please comment with your favorite flavors/recipes for me to try!

Chocolate Bacon

This is my chocolate bacon cupcake. It got the reaction of being weird, because of the mix of bacon and chocolate and another of good but different. I did not try as I don't eat meat. It is a chocolate cupcake with bacon bits in the cake and chocolate ganache frosting with a chocolate dipped bacon piece in it.

The Groovaliscious

These tie-dye cupcakes are simple vanilla/vanilla. They didn't come out quite how I had planned, but were delicious and cute :) Kids will love them!
